1st place for Esslingen on the Neckar

In 2011 the Deutsche SPIELRAUM-Preis (‘german play area prize‘) specifically acknowledged the perpetual cultural change as a matter of fact. In accordance awarded projects had to be planed and designed as stimulating, interactive contribution to their (social-) surrounding. Bernd Junge (Grünflächenamt Esslingen) turned his vision of cultural change in play areas and green space into reality – including equipment by merry go round.
